Inspired community football Northern Ireland (ICFNI) is committed to delivering a wide range of engaging provisions within the minority community to help create change in attitude, performance, education, and aspiration of all young people and individuals who are disengaged in life using the channel of football.
This will help to improve the mental health and well-being of its players, coaches, and members.
With a wide range of programmes targeting all age groups, ICFNI has been signposting and delivering projects to help promote mental health as a priority around the football club.
ICFNI delivered a workshop on the 19th of November 2022 on Physical and mental health to player-coaches and individuals about the importance of mental health and emotional well-being as part of World Mental Health Day and the theme is “mental and physical health in sport”. Everyone backs this message, as the well-being of everyone connected to the club is paramount.
Our Mission
To support individuals and young people from all backgrounds who are passionate about football but disengaged in life and formal education, in other to help them finish, we advise and direct them with the necessary skills to achieve successful transitioning into life and adulthood.
Club objectives
- To foster, promote, teach, and develop the game of football.
- To help individuals to build and develop their character as resourceful and responsible Members of their community by providing opportunities, through the game of football, for their mental, physical, social, and leadership development.

Achieving Our Goals
Sport Event
The club has applied to join Ballymena & Provincial Football League for next season. The Ballymena and Provincial Football League is a regional football league in Northern Ireland.
The league has an intermediate status and three junior divisions namely Junior Divisions 1, 2, and 3 respectively. The league was formed as the Ballymena and District Junior League in 1948, her name
was changed to the Ballymena and District Premier League, and in 1990, intermediate status was
granted to the top division, and the league was renamed as the Ballymena and Provincial Intermediate League. The league subsequently changed its name again to the current Ballymena and Provincial Football League.
Workshops
Inspired community football Northern Ireland organises interactive learning meetings in which the club goes through a series of activities to achieve and educate its members and the community in other to solve a problem or work on a project.
Volunteer Engagement
Inspired community football Northern Ireland organises Volunteer engagement programmes, a strategy that encourages collaboration between the club and volunteers to develop meaningful volunteer opportunities that positively impact the organization and the community.
